Why do I need a Realtor when I can shop online myself?
You need a Realtor representing YOUR best interests, especially when shopping on the internet.
The listing agents you contact directly will be interested in having you as a new customer far more than providing information about that particular listing. It's much less hassle to have your own Realtor make the calls and show you the homes.
If I find a house online, wouldn't it be easier and cheaper to go with the listing agent?

We research the home's history, neighborhood sales activity, etc., which is a real time saver for serious buyers.
